Protect the Bloor bike lane: Make it Permanent!

Make Bloor Permanent

In May 2016, thanks to you, Toronto council approved a bike lane on Bloor Street. But the lane is only a pilot, and council could vote to remove it. Please don't let that happen!

Bike lanes are vital because they allow more people to leave the car at home and cycle to work and school — which reduces congestion and cleans air.

But some councillors don't like the Bloor bike lane and they've threatened to take it down. Please send the mayor and councillors a pre-written email saying you want the Bloor bike lane made permanent. Thank you.

Please make the Bloor bike lane permanent!
Dear Mayor Tory and Councillor: Please make the Bloor bike lane permanent. It will bust traffic congestion, clean air and be popular with voters across the city. Polling shows 80 per cent of Toronto residents support a bike lane network, and nearly 70 per cent want to keep the bike lane on Bloor. Thank you.
